About the Blogger

My name is Bill Brikiatis and I started Suburban Hobby Farmer to help you be more successful at growing organic food in your backyard. Like so many other bloggers, I’m a cast off from the corporate world where I was a marketing person for technology companies for 25 years.

My new role in life is website developer with skills in JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS and SEO. But my passion is blogging about fruit and vegetable gardening for Suburban Hobby Farmer.

I’ve been in and around gardens nearly all of my life, but I’m no master gardener. I make plenty of mistakes, and I’m not afraid to write about them so that you and I both get better at growing great things to eat.
